Home Remedies for Upper Lip Winkles Caused by Smoking

1. Lip Wrinkle Creams

There are lip wrinkle creams you can get over-the-counter and they are some of the best home treatments for upper lip wrinkles. Lip wrinkle creams reduce the appearance of wrinkles and smoker’s lines appearing around your lips. What’s more, there are some wrinkle creams which boost the production of collagen thus reducing upper lip wrinkles. Active ingredients contained in upper lip wrinkle creams include tea extracts, kinetin, copper peptides, Coenzyme Q10, hydroxyl acids and Retinol. These ingredients also help reduce wrinkles that have formed under the eyes

2. Exfoliate and Moisturize

Exfoliation is normally done to eliminate our skin’s upper layer. Exercise 1: Do this for a minimum of ten minutes each day. Place your fingers, book or hand against your lips and avoid pressing against your teeth.Next, open your lips against the resistance without wrinkling your skin. Mostly try to raise the upper lip then try with the lower lip.Performing this exercise on both lips will not only add youthfulness to your lips but will achieve balanced muscle toning. The best part is that you can do this exercise when reading, watching TV, or going about your daily activities.
Exercise 2: Place your index finger inside the two corners of your mouth such that they are slightly separated. Don’t stretch the mouth. With your lips slightly separated, try closing the lips and mouth against the finger resistance. This will tone your nose and lower chin facial muscles, which include the lower and upper lip muscles.Do this exercise for a minimum of about ten minutes each day

Notes:

Once you have reached your desired muscle level, you will be able to permanently maintain muscle tone by performing both exercises for about 5 to 10 minutes each day. Although many people will find this time adequate, there are some people who will need to exercise for a longer time if the upper lip wrinkles start reappearing. In such a situation, you will have to increase the maintenance time.
